The stronger your skin gets with vitamin A the harder it is for active ingredients to get in, so we give them a little helping hand by creating micro channels in the skin, that way we are delivering more of those powerful products to where they can work harder for you and get you the best results.

We have a couple of options to choose from, but please don’t just buy any old roller, choosing the wrong one or going with a cheap item could lead to damage. Best thing is to speak with us first.

Kath had had permanent make up elsewhere in the past but wanted a change of look to something softer and more natural with hair strokes.

I explained that to get the look that she wanted we would have to make room and take some of the old pigment out before we could do that. Kath was worried about having no eyebrow for a time but I explained that it wasn’t that quick and easy, removal is a long process whichever method and the colour lifts out over time and not instantly.

There was nothing wrong with the original tattoo, that shape and colour was nice but hair strokes just wouldn’t hold and would blur out once healed. I talked through the options with Kath and to get the brows she wanted we agreed that we would need to take out some colour and we decided to go for some @botchedink removal sessions. It only took us 2 sessions to lift out enough colour to go in with her new brows.

Kath is super happy and over the moon with her new softer look and as am I 😁 The journey isn’t over yet, I will get Kath back in 6 weeks to see how they have healed and carry out a follow up session to complete the look. Will share the healed results in around 3 months time.

We have had so many clients asking us recently skin the cold snap “what can help with my dry skin” 🥶
So here are a few of our favourite things to help you get back on track this winter…

🧴 Swapping out your cleanser or face wash for something more hydrating and nourishing(never use soap)
🚿 Of course you don’t want a cold shower but avoid using hot water on your face, this will help with your skin barrier and your skins ability to retain moisture
🧴 adding in a hydrating serum, something with active ingredients to actually get into the skin and not just give you the feeling of hydration
🐟 taking skin omegas. Your skin is created from the inside out, so why wouldn’t you supplement with such a thing? Omegas are great for not only improving hydration but also anti-inflammatory.
🧴 one of my favourite things to do is apply and overnight face mask. It doesn’t take you any more time, you can sleep in it and when you wake up your skin is plump and glowing.

Using a home roller is great to help the penetration of your active ingredients meaning that you will get better results and the products will work harder for you.

You only have to use it a couple of times a week initially and increase usage as your skin gets used to it.

We don’t recommend using anything too deep, there is no point! Save that for the experts. You wouldn’t want to cause any damage to your skin.
